Woven Wave

Woven Wave was created by weaving two separate watercolor paintings of a breaking wave to emphasize the light effects as water sparkles and breaks up creating an exciting effect. One painting is cut into straight strips and the other is cut in swooping curves to accentuate the wave's movement.  The two paintings are similar but not identical, thus creating interesting offsets when woven together. The substrate is Yupo.
