Watercolor on Paper 26 in x 20 in $850.00 USD Sold
This is an impressionistic idea of a waterfall in the Great Smoky Mountains. I have painted these falls many times in a realistic manner and decided to give it a try in a more impressionistic style. I used a bold brush (3 inch hake) to create the sky and main rock structures. I used a straw to blow little rivers of paint in various directions to create the effect of crevasses and edges of the rocks. I used frisket resist to retain the white of the paper for the waterfall.
